Daniel Ladue taught English and Spanish and was a teacher-librarian in a career that spanned thirty years. He is the author of Bold and Courageous: Twenty-Five North Country Women and Their Exceptional Contributions and Two With, Buried: The History of the Michigan Hot Dog. Local history is but one of his many interests.
His winters are spent in Mexico City, and with a primary passion in life for world travel, he can be found somewhere else around the globe for at least two other months of the year.
But no matter how far a journey might take him, Daniel remains rooted in the North Country of northern New York State, where he lives in Plattsburgh, less than a mile from his birthplace.
